Ace Take Everything

This game was taught to me by my mother when I was very young. It introduced me to numbers and helped me to add in my head quickly.

Add another deck when playing with more than 4 players. Dealer starts by dealing first to the player to their left. Each player receives 3 cards. After all players receive their cards the dealer places four cards face-up on the table. The dealer holds onto the remaining cards to be redealt after everyone has played their cards.

Objective
The main objective of this games is to gather as many cards as you can before the deck is finished. This is accomplished by each player evaluating the cards in their hand and the four cards on the table to find what 2 or more cards on the table adds up to their card and then they can take those cards. They can also take the card of the same value from the table that matches the card in their hand. The player then places those cards in a pile near them to be counted later. If no match is found the player must discard a card face-up in the center of the table with the other face-up cards.

For example: If a player is holding a 4 they can pick-up any 2 cards from the face-up cards on the table that add up to 4. Or they can pick-up a 4 that may be on the table.

Once everyone has played there cards the dealer deals another 3 cards to each player. This process continues until the entire deck has been dealt. At which time everyone counts the cards they have accumulated and the player with the most cards wins.
